Free Tryout....OleSchool baseball will be holding free tryouts on Nov. 2 and Nov. 9 at Bill Fay Park, 902 Rosanne Dr. Kinston NC. 1 TRADITION OF DEVELOPMENT.
In Fall and Summer we will offer three team opportunities for players at the 13U-14U level.
Players for each team will be selected through tryouts to fill out spots.
Head Coaches of each team have 30+ years experience as a Head Coach.
Schedule will include 4 weekends of games and 2 weekends of camp with our coaches. Drills, fundamentals and individual development is the primary focus. Total commitment per season will be 6 weekends.
At the end of the season, players will receive Individual Development Plans that identify their strengths and areas of improvement with drills and plan of attack.
Our program is driven by individual development over wins or losses. Players in our program will learn the correct process that will lead to results on the field. "Process over results."
The cost will be per season and more information can be found on each individual team page.

Robert Langston is a veteran high school coach of 31 years, while serving 28 as a head coach. He has been selected "Coach of the Year" 8 times. In his career he has coach 34 players that have gone on to play college baseball and one professionally. He was a middle infielder at East Carolina University and is regarded as one of the top infield instructors.
Lind Hartsell is another former veteran high school and college coach. He has won 3 "Coach of Year" honors at the collegiate level. His coaching stints include East Carolina, Radford and Lenoir Community College. Coach Hartsell has won at the regional and national levels while collecting over 300 wins as a Head Coach. Lind presently serves as Region X NJCAA Commissioner.
Phil Woodell is another veteran head coach with 30 years experience. He has won 7 "Coach of the Year" honors. During his tenure, he has coached 27 players that have gone on to play college baseball, with 2 playing professionally. Phil was a standout pitcher at Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College). Phil has an extensive background in coaching and developing pitchers.
Dean Dease has coached high school baseball for 35 years. He has won 12 "Coach of the Year" honors. Coach Dease has coached over 70 players that have gone on the play college baseball with 5 playing professionally. His teams have made 21 state playoff appearances and won 12 conference titles and a state championship. Dean recently was inducted to the NCBCA "Hall of Fame" in 2018.
James Fulghum has been a veteran head coach at the high school level for 27 years. He has been selected "Coach of the Year" seven times during that span. During this time he has produced more than 50 players that have gone on to play college baseball, including 12 in the minor leagues with 2 playing in the big leagues. Fulghum was a catcher at Louisburg College and East Carolina and is known as one of the best catching instructors on the East Coast.
Charles Davis has coached college, junior high, and high school baseball for over 30 years. Coach Davis won over 500 games as a head coach and was inducted to the NCBCA "Hall of Fame in 2017. His teams have made 25 state playoff appearances and won 13 conference titles and a state championship. Charles has won "Coach of Year" 12 times while helping over 60 players go on to play college baseball. Eight of his former players have gone on to play professional baseball.

Clinics are designed for various ages and types of instruction. Clinics will be All-Skills, Pitcher/Catcher or Hitting specific.
